The Little Engine That Could...

So, here are the stats for the last 30 Days:

Days spent juice fasting: 8

Days spent trying (not necessarily my hardest) to eat healthy: 22

Days I woke up before sunrise to take my boo-tay to the gym: 2

Days I attempted to wake up before sunrise to take my boo-tay to the gym: 30

Days I actually went to the gym and worked out total: 3

Days spent following my "plan": 0 (you have to actually WRITE the plan down to have one to follow, right?...well, thereing lies the problem...)

Pounds lost overall: 14.5


Well, as you can see, I have not exactly accomplished what I set out to do at the beginning of this month, but I have accomplished SOME things...I mean, hey, I lost 14.5 lbs, which is a great start to this year. Albeit, I am sure I could have lost more if I had been able to stick to my original plan of fasting the entire month, or even just the secondary plan of calorie counting and gym-going. But, I did not actually really follow through on that. Hence, my first step for this month is to nip that problem right in the bud and move on.. plan in hand.I also noticed I did work out 10% of the month! That's a score in the positive too, since my prior score was nada, zip, zero, zilch, in the workout arena for many months past. So, I feel good. Not great, but definitely good, about January, 2012. 

And now for February, 2012. I do realize that we are 2 days in, so I have some time to make up... but:

There, now that that's been said, here is the overall plan for the next 27 days:

Monday-Friday: Get my Boo-TAY up @5:30am, head to the gym, and WORK OUT as hard as I can for at least 30 minutes.
Weekends: Take a class. Any class. There are great Yoga and Zumba classes at my gym, so I want to start going to them. So, for the weekend, I will go to one. 
Weekly Goal: 6 Days of at least 30 minutes of exercise each week. 

That's it. I'm only going to focus on that for the Workouts part of my plan.

Now for the Nutrition part:

Count my calories. Every day. No matter what. I have a handy dandy app on my phone now that will do this for me. I WILL USE IT. I WILL USE IT. I WILLS USE IT. (sorry... chanting seems to make it seem more like I'll remember to actually input all the info I need to as it comes up instead of two days later when I normally would remember and give up.)  You see, I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that actually knowing what goes in your body does indeed make a huge impact. I just get lazy with it, (as with many things), so I have to stop that and just do the darn thing. 
Daily Caloric Intake Goal: 1200-1500.
